  • We can find endangered animals like: Clouded Leopard, pangolin, Assamese monkey and leopard cat in the forest. We can also find common leopards, Himalayan black Bears, Gorals, Jungle cats, Wild boar, Barking Deer, Sambar and many more.

  • You can also find Red Panda if you get really lucky.

4. Phulchoki
    Phulchoki is 14 km drive towards south of Kathmandu. 

  • Best time to hike in Shivapuri National Park: March to May and September to November

  • Bring your own packed food ( No Hotels & Restaurants available in trail)

  • Snowfall time at Phulchoki : December to February 



5. National Botanical Garden (Godawari)
    It is located at the foothill of Phulchoki.
    Famous for Botanical studies and observations.
    One of the most popular picnic spot in Kathmandu.

6. Amideva Buddha Park

    It is located at Swoyambhunath Temple
    Beware of the naughty monkeys


7. Taudaha Lake
    It is 10 km South-west of Kathmandu.

8. Nagarjun Forest Reserve
Visit for the best view of Kathmandu

10. Ratna Park 
An oldest park of Kathmandu located at the center of Kathmandu.

Pathivara Temple of Tinjure, Terathum | Nepal

Hi Guys, Here I am, back again with a vlog on a hike to a beautiful place called Pathivara Temple at Tinjure. One of the branch of Pathivara goddess of Taplejung. Not only religiously important place but also to see some of the spectacular scenery, loss green forest, snow-capped Himalayan range namely Kanchenjunga,makalu and Everest range. You can also see yellowish fertile paddy field during Autumn in the southeast part of terathum district. We can also see one of the biggest rivers of Nepal called Arun, carving the deepest Valley of the world and following freely towards the fertile plain of terai. It is also possible to hike from Basantpur Gufapokhari via the temple/tinjure. This protected area is home to one of the most beautiful events of spring, where more than 25 varieties of rhododendron flourish.
